It's official--this cutie has been walking for a couple of months now!
Ethan is learning to use the scissors and thinks it's fun!
The ordeal of the mailbox. We bought a mailbox and Tracy and Kelly put it in. They had to use a sledgehammer to get the post in to the ground. They were very proud of it until the postman came and told them that they put it on the wrong side of the road. When Tracy pulled the other one out, the post broke. We tried to nail the post back together to no avail and then tried to buy another post which proved impossible. All that was left was to buy ANOTHER mail box (these things are more expensive than you'd think!). This one had be concreted in. I took this picture from the window without Tracy knowing about it because it was kind of funny. It was over a hundred degrees outside and he had been out there over two hours. The whole time his lips were moving though he was by himself. Somehow I don't think he was singing a song!
The aftermath--the mailbox is in and Tracy is a mess!
Learning to feed herself with a spoon and (wonderful invention) her suction cup bowl so she can't pick it up and throw it on the floor!
Last night, having his supper! He's still getting adjusted to yet another home!
Our living room with furniture!
Another angle--this one has the beautiful bookcase a member of our church built for us!
Living room again
Dining room
Kitchen We've officially been moved in almost 3 weeks and I've been back at school about the same time. I haven't had access to internet to be able to post any pictures, so I've finally got it worked out. It's been a bit crazy with Ethan getting a double ear infection, finding out our washer and dryer didn't fit in the laundry room (and having to get new stackable ones), finding out I wasn't getting paid until the end of September (PANIC!) and a host of other things, but as usual, God provides and the stress I felt wasn't really necessary. Thank the Lord He isn't like us!
Ethan and Katelyn are in a wonderful daycare which they both love and Ethan calls school. They are happy to go every day now (though it took a week of adjustment while my poor Dad took them!) and are smiling and cheerful when I pick them up. School has been good for me--my students are great and I've got a great schedule. It is so nice going back to what is already familiar and it almost feels like I never left! Tracy is doing well at the church and is happy there and we just feel good about being right where God has planned and about being here for a while! We've moved every year of our marriage and twice this year! I'm done!
